How Customers Can Pay

Every invoice Sawfish sends carries a secure payment link. What your customer sees behind it depends on which payment methods you’ve enabled:

  • Credit and debit card - Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. Card details are captured in hosted payment fields, so card numbers never pass through Sawfish (or you).
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay - one-touch wallet payments on supported devices.
  • PayID - the customer pays from their own banking app to a PayID; real-time via Australia’s NPP.
  • PayTo - a bank-validated payment agreement, ideal for agreements and recurring collection.
  • Bank transfer - traditional EFT with the invoice’s payment advice.
  • Tap to Pay on iPhone - take contactless card payments in person on your phone; see the Mobile App section.

Enable or disable each method per organisation - and pass fees on where you want to - under your payment settings. See Fees and payment method controls.

Payments settle into your Sawfish wallet and pay out to your bank account on the payout schedule - see Payouts and your wallet.
