How Customers Can Pay
Every invoice Sawfish sends carries a secure payment link. What your customer sees behind it depends on which payment methods you’ve enabled:
- Credit and debit card - Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. Card details are captured in hosted payment fields, so card numbers never pass through Sawfish (or you).
- Apple Pay and Google Pay - one-touch wallet payments on supported devices.
- PayID - the customer pays from their own banking app to a PayID; real-time via Australia’s NPP.
- PayTo - a bank-validated payment agreement, ideal for agreements and recurring collection.
- Bank transfer - traditional EFT with the invoice’s payment advice.
- Tap to Pay on iPhone - take contactless card payments in person on your phone; see the Mobile App section.
Choosing what to accept
Section titled “Choosing what to accept”Enable or disable each method per organisation - and pass fees on where you want to - under your payment settings. See Fees and payment method controls.
Where the money goes
Section titled “Where the money goes”Payments settle into your Sawfish wallet and pay out to your bank account on the payout schedule - see Payouts and your wallet.
